The 2nd annual FACT Social Justice Challenge called for your innovative projects that leverage web and/or mobile technologies to foster collaboration around social justice issues. Submissions closed on Monday with 90 innovative project entries from all around the world. Thanks to all of you who submitted your creative and inspiring ideas to the Challenge! Now it's time for all of us to support these projects - below are a few ways that you can get involved.

Show your support

Here's how you can support these up-and-coming ideas:

  1. Give feedback: Browse the Project Gallery and show your support by leaving comments or starring your favorite project ideas. Your feedback can help shape the future of these projects!
  2. Share your favorite projects across the web: Spread the word to friends, colleagues and potential collaborators.
  3. Get ready to vote! The NetSquared Community gets to select the 15 featured projects that receive support and go to the final round of judging. Voting opens on Monday, October 11 at noon PST, so be sure to visit the Project Gallery next week and support your favorite projects. (Instructions on how to vote will be posted on Monday).

About the FACT Challenge

The Challenge theme this year is “Collaborate for Social Justice." This theme was chosen because beneath all the new platforms, widgets, tools, social media and innovative products lies the potential for people to collaborate in new ways with one another.

The FACT Challenge seeks to surface innovative projects that leverage web and/or mobile technologies to foster collaboration around social justice issues.
