Audio Recording from Funder Briefing Call on Net Neutrality and the Future of the Internet
Over 40 funders participated in an engaging discussion of current developments in Internet policy on a January 27, 2011 Media Democracy Fund briefing call co-sponsored by GFEM. As we heard on the call, the Internet and communications policies being debated now will impact the ability of every funder's grantees to communicate, to innovate and to advance their communities' needs and interests. The battle will burn hot this summer, as public interest advocates fight to protect the government's role in regulating the Internet and creating equity within our primary communications infrastructure.
An audio recording of the call is available for you to review or share with colleagues. Please visit http://www.mediademocracyfund.org to listen in and learn more.
