Arabella Advisors Hires New York Managing Director

Arabella Advisors announced today the appointment of Samantha L. Beinhacker as Managing Director of its New York City office. The appointment marks a significant expansion of the firm’s presence in the New York and tri-state areas. Beinhacker and her team will now bring Arabella Advisors' full range of philanthropic support services to the region's institutional, corporate, family, and individual donors.

"New York is the hub of the financial markets, and given the considerable wealth and resources that drive this community, the demand for philanthropy services is growing dramatically,” said Arabella’s founder, Eric Kessler.  “Expanding Arabella’s presence in New York will help address that need.”

In addition to building Arabella’s New York presence, Beinhacker will seek out innovative partnerships and engagements that leverage New York's unique resources for all Arabella clients -- from Wall Street to Madison Avenue to Silicon Alley.  She brings to Arabella extensive relationships in the social innovation and philanthropy field, as well as a global reputation as an advocate for institutions effecting social change. Beinhacker previously helped lead the Skoll World Forum at Oxford University, one of the largest-ever global convenings of social entrepreneurs and philanthropists.  Prior to that effort, she directed a multimillion-dollar fund that seeded startup nonprofit enterprises and educated nonprofits about income generation.  She also edited the book Generating and Sustaining Nonprofit Earned Income: A Guide to Successful Enterprise Strategies (Jossey-Bass, 2004) and has written and spoken extensively about nonprofit management and philanthropy.
