Keeping Free Speech Alive: NYC Cable Franchise Forum

In September 2008, the cable franchise agreements between the city of New York, NYC public access centers, and the cable companies will expire.  This lively community gathering and information session will feature City Council member Gale Brewer, as well as some of the country's leading experts on community media: Tony Riddle, Executive Director, Alliance for Community Media, and  Jeff Chester, Executive Director, Center for Digital Democracy.
