On January 6th, Tech Policy Central and Facebook are co-hosting a Lunch Salon titled "Privacy 2009: The Year Ahead" that, as the name suggests, will explore what is likely to happen in the privacy arena under the Obama administration and the 111th Congrees.

Kara Swisher of All Thing's D will be the moderator. The speakers will be Chris Kelly of Facebook, Jim Dempsey of the Center for Democracy and Technology, Chris Hoofnagle of Berkeley's Center for Law and Technology, and Jane Horvath of Google.

The event will take place at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto from 12pm to 1:30pm. There is no cost to participate, and lunch will be provided.
