Video from Future of Music Coalition's "Policy Day 2009"
Just two weeks after the start of the new administration, the Future of Music Coalition presented their annual Policy Day on February 11, 2009, bringing focus to the core issues emerging in the courts, in Congress, at the FCC and the Copyright Office.
The event brought together a "who's who" of leaders in music, technology, policy and law to talk about a range of issues - from traditional broadcasting to emerging technologies and the Internet. Copyright, licensing hurdles, artist compensation and more were covered in informative discussions with experts in all sides of the issues.
