New Interactive Media for Progressive Change Initiative

Instructional Telecommunications Foundation (ITF) promotes the use of online and mobile technology for progressive social change, especially in support of the human right to freedom of speech in pursuit of tolerance, understanding and truth.

With technology and telecommunications more accessible today, the challenge is to design innovative ways to reach and engage the public in rural communities, in crumbling inner cities, in schools and campuses, and wherever progressive change is needed.

Our initiative supports efforts to engage communities in advocating for and participating in creating alternative forms of media; and using innovative applications of technology for distributing content for public dialogue, for grassroots organizing, and mobilizing to affect social change.
