The Media Justice Fund Issues its Final Evaluation Report

Since 2003, the Media Justice Fund of the Funding Exchange has made grants to grassroots social change organizations to support the development of media and communications systems to advance social justice.  In 2008 they embarked on an evaluation of their efforts. 

Their recently released report “yields some important reflections and lessons for Media Justice Fund program staff, as well as others interested in supporting grassroots media justice activism...(and) highlights some important learning about the pitfalls, challenges and opportunities of funding movement building work more broadly."
