GFEM Funder Delegation to SXSW Interactive 2012

With the generous support of the EBS Boards, GFEM will once again host a funder delegation to SXSWi to help interested funders investigate technology, media, interactivity and cutting-edge design issues that impact their work now and in the future. The 2012 SXSW® Interactive Festival will feature five days of compelling presentations from the brightest minds in emerging technology, scores of exciting networking events hosted by industry leaders, the unparalleled SXSW Trade Show and an unbeatable lineup of special programs showcasing the best new digital works, video games and innovative ideas the international community has to offer.

The GFEM funder delegation offers a pre-conference call on "not-to-be-missed" sessions and speakers; curated reading materials; an informal dinner with Michael Maness, VP/Journalism and Media Innovation at the Knight Foundation and director of the Journalism and Media Innovation program (see a great video on the Knight News Challenge); daily breakfasts including special guests; on-calliing staff support on site; and a post conference call to continue the learning.
